Facts: Friendship, South Carolina
These photos were taken with a 35mm camera and 800 speed film.
The Story: Many things that seemed paranormal related occurred within this home ever
since they purchased it a year before these photos were taken. The kids in the house
experienced it most, but the adult that lived here experienced strange things almost as
much. The kids reported sighting a "man" in "shadow" and other "shadow people" in and
around the home. The major complaint, the one that sparked fear within the kids, was the
little girl often seeing a man in the hallway, coming out of the bathroom or headed toward it
from her own bedroom. He would often open and close doors. The boy reported shadow
people all over the place that he talked to a lot. The mother reported odd sensations and
feeling someone sit on her bed, touch her knee and squeeze, crawling into bed with her,
hearing strange noises. It was time to call for help, and that help came from Ghost Mind.
I wish I could present the EVPs to you on this investigation but as it contains a background
of the "other" voices and animal sounds in the room, it also contains a very personal story
that I have been asked to keep private. Me and the lady were the only ones in the room
when these were recorded. She was telling me things I cannot disclose to the public.
History: The family hadn't slept in the home or stayed there after the sun set for over a
year due to the phenomena experienced there, but they still wanted tangible evidence.
This is where we stepped in.
Upon purchasing the home, no history was given at all of any occurrence within the home.
When checked locally from community resources, the lady found out that the former owner
had committed suicide within the home. The former owner had also killed an alligator and
stored it's head within the home. A sound resembling an alligator was found on the EVPs
during our conversation.
When the lady had purchased the home, it was already too late to back out as she
certainly would have if given the chance from her findings in their totality. When her and
her boyfriend went to inspect the home before moving it to it's current location, they
removed the underpinning and found tombstones piled up to the floor of the home. It had
stood on a old cemetery that someone was trying to hide to sell the place. When she
talked to those that lived around the place, she found out that the cemetery was also used
for Satanic rituals.
During The Investigation:
While we talked and I recorded, we kept thinking we heard something, like a lady crying.
We felt the presence and crying. The thermometer kept changing temperatures every 3 to
5 minutes within a 5 degree radius. No one had touched the thermostat. We decided to cut
off the recorder and listen to the tapes. Oddly, we had captured the lady's crying on tape
and the alligator! The EMF reading were well above normal.
The rooms of the home: In the rooms of the home, I detected something like I had never
on any other investigation. The girl's room had temperature changes rapidly, as the living
room had and above average EMF readings. When I got to her stereo, I checked the
readings on the electrical outlet in order to compare the rest of the readings. The EMF
detector showed a reading of 200 there at the outlet. When I started going backward, away
from the stereo, the readings increased up to 400-500. Above the stereo she had clown
trinkets that the mother's boyfriend had bought her. The readings again were 200, just as
far away from the outlet that I got the other increased readings. Some of the figurines got a
reading of 300-400. The height of the readings were in the mother's bedroom where the
temperature was in a constant state of change and the EMF readings reached over 1500
at one point. They averaged around 1200. I checked for a major electrical source and
found none. In this room is where I got the big orb and the manifestation of the shooting
orb. The formed shadows on the edges of the bathroom pictures I checked thoughourly
for double exposures and found nothing unusual about the photos as in something else
causing this on the photos.
